Upon making the decision to purchase the vehicle I met with the dealer's financial officer to iron out some of the last minute details. During this meeting the financial officer CHAR(34)up-sold meCHAR(34) on some additional services (approx $1,400).Prior to agreeing to these services I had inquired how it would effect my monthly payments. The financial officer told me the impacts to my monthly payments and I signed the Bill of Sale. Two days later, my salesperson emails me a revised Bill of Sale with a 25%-30% increase to my monthly payments. He said CHAR(34)I forgot to add tax to your BOS, please find the new one attached to this emailCHAR(34). At no point did anyone from the dealership ask me if I still consented to the additional services.
